About Boomhall Trust

Boomahall Trust is a Charitable Trust established to restore, preserve, conserve and maintain the built and natural environment of the Boomhall Estate and its surrounding landscapes to internationally recognised standards of conservation.

By protecting the historical, environmental, cultural, archaeological and aesthetic significance of the place; the Charity intends to make its heritage accessible for the use, enjoyment, wellbeing, education and inspiration of present and future generations.

Above are the Location Maps of the Boomhal Estate

For 50 years the Boomhall Estate has been run-down and unused. When over a thousand people were asked what they wanted for Boomhall, ninety eight per cent of citizens across all communities unanimously wanted to see the house, stables and landscapes there beneficially restored and accessible to the public. Boomhall Trust has been formed to achieve this.

Our Objectives

WELL-BEING

To pioneer community programmes which create the conditions for individual well-being in a post-conflict society, to break the passing of trauma between generations and to tackle the abnormal and rife anxiety culture in the North West which is a known stepping stone to addiction and suicide.

ENVIRONMENT

To advance the city as a leader in the repair and care of the environment, ending numerous species extinctions and preparing people for employment opportunities in the emerging green economy.

COMMUNITIES

To bring communities together in peace.
